Vlada Groysman, MD, FAADVlada Groysman, M.D. is the founder and Medical Director of Cahaba Dermatology & Skin Health Center. She is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Groysman specializes in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology for adults, adolescents, and children. Dr. Groysman has a special passion for women’s health dermatology. She is proud to be the only Vulvar Dermatologist within the state of Alabama.
Dr. Groysman received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, graduating with Cum Laude Honors. Dr. Groysman received her medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class.
Dr. Groysman completed a three year residency in dermatology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and became Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She worked as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama Department of Dermatology where she served as Director of the Women’s Health Clinic with subspecialties in mucosal disorders, rosacea and dermatologic disease of pregnancy. Dr. Groysman led a team of expert physicians, residents and medical students in providing outstanding and comprehensive care in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents at the VA Hospital in Birmingham. Dr. Groysman is committed to providing the highest quality of dermatologic care to her patients and utilizing the most recent medical and surgical advances in a relaxing and compassionate atmosphere.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Groysman enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, reading, and cooking.
Dr. Groysman was the recipient of the Presidents’ Scholarship for Academics Dr. Groysman has published numerous articles on various topics in the field of dermatology in peer-reviewed journals such as Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatology Therapeutics. Dr. Groysman lectures regularly at the national level at the American Academy of Dermatology Conferences. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, and the American Contact Dermatology Society and National Psoriasis Foundation.
Zoey Glick, MD, FAADZoey Glick, M.D. is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Glick specializes in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and laser dermatology for adults, adolescents, and children. She has a special passion for pediatric dermatology and completed additional training in pediatric dermatology during her residency and her fellowship in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
Dr. Zoey Glick completed her undergraduate education at Washington University in St Louis where she earned a B.A. in Anthropology and graduated with honors. She then moved to Washington, DC for medical school where she attended the George Washington University School of Medicine. She first pursued her interest in Pediatrics and Pediatric Dermatology by completing a Preliminary Internship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. She then moved to Birmingham to complete her dermatology residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Glick went into private practice. Dr. Glick has enjoyed serving the dermatologic needs of the Birmingham and surrounding community and looks forward to continuing her practice at Cahaba Dermatology & Skin Health Center. She welcomes her existing patients and looks forward accepting new patients. We are very excited to have a dermatologist with Dr. Glick’s experience, caring personality, and extensive knowledge of dermatology joining the medical team.
Outside of work, Dr. Glick enjoys running and walking with her husband. Spending quality time with her son and black lab, traveling, and reading.
While in residency, Dr. Glick was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as Dermatologic Surgery. She was also awarded the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Resident/Fellow Award. She has lectured on the national level at the American Academy of Dermatology, Society for Pediatric Dermatology and Alabama Dermatology Society Meeting. She also served on the Women's Dermatologic Society Editorial Board Committee
Suzanne Vickers, PA-CSuzanne Vickers is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who works with our dermatologists to provide exceptional patient care. Mrs. Vickers graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, after which she went on to receive her master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, graduating at the top of her class. Suzanne has extensive experience in dermatology, working as a dermatology PA since 2003. She joined Cahaba Dermatology in 2015.
At Cahaba Dermatology, Suzanne diagnoses and treats patients with wide array of medical and surgical concerns. She performs procedures including, but not limited to biopsies, cryotherapy, and injections, with special focus on acne and rosacea. She can address all dermatology concerns and works in close conjunction with Dr. Groysman and Dr. Glick as needed for each patient. Suzanne’s goal is to ensure that each patient is educated about their skin condition and develop the best treatment plan allowing them look and feel their best.
Suzanne enjoys traveling with her family and spending time at the beach. Suzanne and her husband keep busy with three boys.
Suzanne is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is active in professional society events, attending national meeting annually.
